1. Who we are
SafeMart Vietnam is a verified online marketplace exclusively for Expats living legally in Vietnam. We connect verified African sellers with buyers in Vietnam. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
2. Eligibility
To register as a seller you must be an African national living legally in Vietnam with a valid Temporary Residence Card (TRC). Buyers must provide accurate personal information during registration. All users must be 18 years or older.
3. Seller verification
All sellers must upload a valid TRC for identity verification before going live. Submitting false or expired documents will result in immediate and permanent account termination. Verification is at the sole discretion of the SafeMart admin team.
4. Subscription and payments
Sellers pay a monthly subscription fee of 50, 000 VND. Payment is made via bank transfer to our BIDV account. Failure to pay within the grace period will result in your account being frozen and your listings removed from the marketplace. No refunds are issued for partial months.
5. Listings and products
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Listing counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination. SafeMart reserves the right to remove any listing at any time without notice.
6. Transactions
All transactions happen directly between buyers and sellers via WhatsApp or Zalo. SafeMart is not responsible for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions. We strongly recommend sellers use our receipt system to record all sales.
7. Disputes
SafeMart provides a dispute resolution service as a courtesy. We will investigate reported disputes and may take action including freezing or banning accounts. Our decisions are final. We cannot guarantee recovery of funds in any dispute.
8. Reviews and trust scores
Buyers may leave honest reviews after purchases. Fake reviews, review manipulation, or review intimidation will result in account termination. Trust scores are calculated automatically from verified buyer reviews.
9. Sales count and level system
The seller level system is based on confirmed sales via our receipt generator. Artificially inflating sales counts by generating false receipts is prohibited and will result in a sales count reset and account warning. Repeat violations result in permanent ban.
10. Account termination
SafeMart reserves the right to freeze, suspend, or permanently terminate any account at any time for violations of these terms, suspicious activity, non-payment, or any behavior that is harmful to our community.
11. Privacy
We collect personal information necessary to operate the marketplace. TRC documents are stored in private encrypted storage and are only accessed by the admin team for verification purposes. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
12. Limitation of liability
SafeMart Vietnam is provided as is. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the previous month.
13. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify sellers of significant changes via WhatsApp.
